Paris 2024 Summer Olympics

Our athletes have every chance of winning medals at the Olympic Games in Paris

Our athletes will participate from July 26 to August 11 at the Olympic Games in the capital of France, in an individual neutral status, subject to a number of criteria. The IOC signed the permit, although before that there were rumors that ours might not be at the future Olympic Games at all. The neutrality of athletes means that special symbols will be established for them in the form of an anthem and a flag. In addition, awards, if any are won by Russian athletes, will not be reflected in the standings. Athletes will also not be able to attend the opening ceremony — the parade will be closed for them.

Currently, fourteen athletes from Russia have been selected for the Olympic Games with the permission of the commission. Particularly successful performances are expected from our tennis players. It is clear that many athletes will not be able to go to the Olympics at all, but some other countries, for a variety of reasons, often cannot present their favorites at the main world Games.
