This summer, Stade de la Beaujoire will become Nantes's main attraction. From July 24 to August 10, it will host football matches of the Olympic Games. 16 men's and 12 women's teams will compete in the competitions.
Stade de la Beaujoire was built in 1984. Its stands can accommodate more than 37 thousand spectators. It hosted the matches of the World and European football championships and world rugby competitions. This year, it will also host the matches of the 2024 Summer Olympics.
In July, the group rounds will take place on its field. Starting on August 2 and 3, there will be quarterfinals and semifinals with a break of two days. On August 8 and 9, the teams will compete for third place. On August 9 and 10, the fans will see the finals!
