Paris 2024 Summer Olympics

Yves-Du-Manoir Stadium

Description

Yves-Du-Manoir Stadium is a historic venue that has hosted the Olympic Games twice. Designed by the great architect Louis Fort-Dujarric, this stadium is one of the few that have the honor of hosting such a prestigious event. In 1924, the eighth Olympics was held here, including the opening ceremony and athletics competitions. This is a unique place in France, which will again host the Games in 2024, this time the hockey competition.

Before the opening of the Parc des Princes in 1972, Yves-Du-Manoir Stadium was the main sports complex in the Paris region. Located in Colombes, north-west of Paris, the stadium has hosted around 250 national and international competitions over the last hundred years, including athletics, rugby, football and even boxing. It also hosted the World Cup in 1972, which was watched by 40,000 spectators.

Yves-Du-Manoir Stadium has been renovated several times and the Hauts-de-Seine department is now launching a modernization program to improve conditions for the community, associations, schools and universities.

The stadium capacity is 15,000 people. The schedule of events and posters can be viewed on our website. Order tickets online quickly and easily.
